Well I must say that I am glad to be home. Not that it was a bad trip, but it is nice to be home. Actually, I think the last two weeks went pretty good. Superior, as I have already mentioned, was a blast. The Island Resort & Casino in Michigan, was rather relaxing. The club is really nice. The stage was wonderful, and so were the sound techs. We got to meet some fun people, and even got to see some of Stubby’s Michigan gang (John and Co., it was my pleasure meeting you). Stubby’s folks even made the trip across the Mackinac Bridge to come see their little drummer boy. Cool week.
The Red Sox swept the series, and now I must say goodbye to baseball until next spring. What will I ever do. I know, watch the Packers beat the Bronco’s in overtime. Yes, I am a Dallas fan, but they had a bye this week.
I spent most of Tuesday watching the television. I awoke to TCM running a few movies about musicians from the early 1930’s, Roger’s & Hart, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Gene Krupa, and Glenn Miller. The highlight was of course the return to FX of “Nip/Tuck.” Craig from Shooter’s turned me on to this series and I love it. Now, my Tuesday night TV viewing is set for the rest of the season.
Tomorrow I must get back to the business of being Ramon. I guess that means more of the same. I looooove my job.
Take care y’all and hope you have a Happy Halloween.
