The Great Outdoors will be at Polly’s in Grafton, ND for New Years Eve. This is one heck of a fun club, and celebrating New Years Eve, Ramon’s birthday, and Stubby’s birthday ought to make it even better.

The Great Outdoors will be at the Pistol Pete’s in West Fargo, ND this week. We have been looking forward to coming “home” for awhile. We hope to see you there. Don’t forget, we will be in Grafton, ND at Polly’s to ring in the New Year.

I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. I hope Santa is good to you.
We have finished off another week in Mandan, ND at the Lonesome Dove. Thanks to Wanda, Judy, and all the others who brought by holiday goodies. You kept the week festive while we were away from home.
We also would like to remind you that we are at Pistol Pete’s this weekend (Thurs - Sat.) We would love to see you there.
Also, New Years Eve will be in Grafton, ND at Polly’s. This should prove to be one heck of a good time, as I will be celebrating my birthday (Jan 1) and Stubby will be celebrating his (Jan 2).

The Great Outdoors will be at the Lonesome Dove in Mandan, ND this week. The club has a nice sized dance floor and Country Dance is the order of the day.

Just thought I would take some time to thank Casey Connors for filling in on guitar this last weekend. Peter had to fulfill a prior obligation with his band in Grand Forks, ND. Casey, as most of you know, was the original guitarist for The Great Outdoors. Needless to say, Casey did a bang up job for us. I can’t say enough about him. His presence in Watertown, SD at The Dakota Sioux Casino was most appreciated. Thanks Casey.
Speaking of The Dakota Sioux Casino, we really had a good time. The crowds were nice, and these folks really enjoy dancing to country music. Friday saw the floor full from the first note. We had several challenges coming in the form of requests that taxed our brains. We pulled off most, and had a good time trying the rest. Despite the persistent fog, the drive home was absolutely beautiful. The frost from Saturday night left a wintry cover on the tree branches that just sparkled. I don’t care for the cold, but the view is spectacular.
Next week finds us in Mandan, ND at The Lonesome Dove. With only a week to go before the big guy starts his flight around the world delivering presents, I know I will be spending as much time in the stores as I will at the bar. I hope to see y’all at The Dove during your much needed breaks from shopping.
