It sure was nice to be back at Pete’s. Even though I was a little under the weather, still recovering from last weeks cold. I managed to get through the week without blowing out a lung. The rest of the guys are battling a little cold season themselves. Man it has been a frigid couple of weeks. I am going to take this week to recuperate, relax, and just do nothing. Sometimes it is good to be me.

Thomas Michael is coming to Pete’s this week. I might go out on Thursday to say hello. He has a good band. A bunch of nice fella’s too. I haven’t been out to hear a band in a while. I think I am feeling the need.

Well, that just about does it for now. Once again, I hope y’all can stay warm.

We had ourselves a fine week at Jackpot Junction in Morton, MN. We even got to see some folks from Fargo, and the cities. Nice to see people making road trips to hang out with the band. The ladies from Minnetonka were a sight for sore eyes. It has been way too long since we got to party with the “chicka’s.”

I must give my condolences to all Green Bay fans for the loss at Lambeau. It was weird playing to the backs of all the fans at Jackpot while they had their eyes glued to the TV screen, but I must admit that I was watching the game while trying to play.

The subzero temps didn’t keep the crowds from coming to the casino. Good to see all the linedancers again. For those linedancers who are interested, Earl’s band, Cruzin’ Coyote will be coming back to the midwest this summer. Check their schedule for dates in the area.

Keep warm everyone,

Ramon
