The Great Outdoors are headed back to Mandan, ND for a week at The Lonesome Dove. Come out and enjoy some good Country music and Country dancing.

Here is an interesting article about a loophole in the Minnesota Smoking Ban. I am not a big supporter of the smoking ban. As a singer, it is nice to have fresh air to breathe, but as an entertainer making my living in the bars and night clubs of the area, I don’t particularly like the way it has affected crowds.

March 9th we set our clocks forward for Daylight Savings Time. Does this mean Spring is in the air? Let’s hope it is right around the corner, and that the cold season starts to slip behind us. I think we have all just about worn out our thermals.
Not that anyone needs an excuse to have a good time, but we would like to remind everyone to mark your calendars and gather your green for a festive St. Patrick’s Day (March 17). The Great Outdoors will be at Shooter’s in Superior, WI the weekend before, so I am sure there will be some “Irish Cowboys” out and about.
March 23rd is Easter Sunday. If you have kids, make sure you are stocked up on hard boiled eggs and plenty of dye.
March 31st, Opening Day for the Chicago Cubs!!! Yeah!
