The Great Outdoors

This week, The Great Outdoors will be getting around a bit. Tuesday through Thursday will be at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN. Friday the band returns to Little Falls, MN for an evening at The West Side Bar. Saturday will be at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, ND for the 2008 World Men’s Curling Championship.

Come out and enjoy some good music and dancing. Remember, you can use our directions finder below to generate a map to the front door of the club. We hope to see you there.

We would like to send a very special thanks to Travis Atwood of Carmen The Cactus for filling in for Jenny Z this last Friday at the M&J. We all had a grand time. I don’t think the fun ended until after 3:30am. That’s what I call a good night.

For our first trip to the M&J, we had a pretty good week. We met some new friends and had a good time in the process. I hope to see many of you in the future. We got to see a few of the area’s musicians as well. Terri Mackner from Silverado got up and sang a few songs, as did Kyle from Just The Guys. We even had a visit from Kimber Wolfe. It has been a long time since I have jammed with Kimber. Good time!

If you get a chance to see the Carmen boys, be sure to do so, it is a great show. They all are a lot of fun.

The month of April is coming, and so is spring. After a winter of super sub zero temps, it is a welcome time. Let’s all enjoy it.

April 22nd is Earth Day. Celebrate planet earth and be “green” at least for today.

We are back from a couple week jaunt to Superior, WI and Mahnomen, MN. I must admit that it is good to be back in my own apartment. I went a week without internet while in Mahnomen because my computer is on the fritz. Seems like a lifetime.

Anyway, we are back and will be at the M&J in West Fargo, ND this coming Thursday through Saturday. Hope to see y’all there.
